BUCKETS, NOT BINS

When stone fruits are at their peak of ripeness and maturity, they’re incredibly delicate — far too fragile to be dumped into the 1,000-pound bulk bins many growers use to transport the fruit at harvest time. This is where the vast majority of bruising and blemishing occurs. To preserve its premium quality, our Prima fruit never touches a bin. Instead, we carefully transport it in the original protective buckets into which the fruit is harvested. The result? Peaches, plums and nectarines that are noticeably cleaner, brighter and blemish-free.
